        <description>
          <p>Aug 22, 2026, 11:00am -  3:00pm</p><p>Help us count and identify as many insects as we can in 4 hours!We’ll have an insect scavenger hunt for kids. Insect experts will be on hand, and we’ll have insect specimens for children and adults to learn from.This project helps us expand our nature catalog for the Restore and Regenerate Forest at Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster. As the forest restoration grows, nature cataloguing will help us identify how many more insects use the forest habitat for their home.This event is held in conjunction with Soldiers2Scientists, an organization that engages veterans and their families in citizen science.</p>
