Our mission is to make the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County the best in New York State. CCE Putnam must raise all the funds to help us build our new home at Tilly Foster Farms. Our goal to complete this project is $750,000. That is why your contribution is so very important to make this happen.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County started in 1944 and has been operating in the exact location that it currently is housed today. Since 2019 we have grown exponentially, reaching over 110,000 “Friends of Extension,” who have received evidence-based programming from us.
Our top three service areas are 4-H Youth Development, Community Horticulture (Master Gardeners) Program and Strengthening Community and Economic Vitality and many new initiatives currently in development. To continue to provide outstanding, quality, and lasting service to our growing community, we need a new home.
Our goal is to build a beautiful two-story barn that will fit into the current footprint of the old building and will blend into the aesthetics of the historic farm at Tilly Foster Farm, located in Brewster, New York. This building will provide office space to grow into and, at the same time, have a large work area for lectures, demonstrations, and conferences.
Your support is crucial to our efforts to relocate to Tilly Foster Farm. Please help us achieve our mission, broaden our impact, and change the lives of Putnam County residents forever. We can do this together, and you can help us get the space we need.
Thank you for your support!
