EVERY VOICE MATTERS!
Cornell Cooperative Extension is seeking continued support from the state in the form of a $6.12 million appropriation for 2024/2025 within the SUNY Executive Budget. This funding is crucial for leveraging County support and placing Extension professionals in local communities, allowing for increased impact in areas such as youth development, farmer education and applied research, economic development, and healthy eating. Last year's record funding level of $6.12 million, including $500,000 for CCE in NYC, helped to significantly increase the organization's impact. Cornell Cooperative Extension is hopeful that continued funding at this level will allow them to continue making a positive difference in local communities across the state.
Please help us in maintaining our funds by writing to the governor. A Word document sample of the letter has been provided for download HERE: 224_Letter_to_the_Governor_October_2023.docx Thank you all for your continued support.
