Cornell University: an Ivy-League University with a Land-Grant Mission
Welcome to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County!
Since 1944, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County (CCEPC) continues to use research based knowledge through their partnership with Cornell University to assist the residents of Putnam County.
CCEPC is a part of the Cooperative Extension land grant system, a partnership between County, State, and Federal governments that is administered in New York State through Cornell University and enjoys the benefits of a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Each county's Cooperative Extension association is independent and works to serve the needs of the county in which it is located.
Believing that lifelong education is the key to behavioral change, Cornell Cooperative Extension will become Putnam’s leading provider of educational programs and resources that strengthen families and communities and enhance Putnam’s environment.
Our educational programs are designed to address current community issues in the environment and community, youth and family development.
Cornell Cooperative Extension is an employer and educator recognized for valuing AA/EEO, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities and provides equal program and employment opportunities. Please contact the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County office if you have any special needs.
We have an extensive system for getting input from diverse interests in the community, and we welcome your ideas and involvement in our efforts. If you'd like more information on how to get involved, please contact Stefanie Hubert, Executive Director, at (845) 278-6738 or email sh379@cornell.edu.
