MyBenefits.Gov - New York State residents can visit this website to find out if they are eligible for help through SNAP (formerly Food Stamps), Nutrition Education, Temporary Assistance, HEAP, WIC, School Meals, and Summer Meal Programs.

NOEP (the Nutrition Outreach and Education Program) offers one-on-one help applying for SNAP. They can tell you if you may be eligible, help you gather the documents you need, and help you with your SNAP application. The service is free and confidential.
