4-H Jr. Vet Workshop Series: Open to youth ages 9-15 During this six-week job shadowing program, youth will visit a different veterinary provider each week to investigate a variety of animal science topics including animal dentistry, food & nutrition and how to handle pet emergencies. The participants will work side-by-side with local vets to explore careers in the veterinary fields.

Program Fee: $80 per person (Non-Refundable) Must be a 2023-2024 4-H Member to attend!

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County’s 4-H Youth Development Program is excited to announce that Enrollment/Re-Enrollment for the 2023-2024 Program Year is now open! Putnam youth ages 5-19 are welcome to join!

The Annual 4-H Enrollment Fee is $35.00 per youth, per year. Once enrolled, youth are welcome to join 4-H Clubs, participate in short-term programs (S.T.E.P.) and take part in special events held throughout the year!
