  • Thursday, January 4, 2024, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County`s online workshop on January 4th, 12–1:30 PM. Tailored for new farmers, small berry producers, and part-time growers, this session focuses on best management practices taught by Eastern New York Commercial Horticulture Small Fruit and Vegetable Specialist Laura McDermott. Delve into fruits—blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries—while gaining insights into site and plant selection, pruning techniques, weed control, fertility management, and labor-saving methodologies.

We will contact you one week before the event with a Zoom link.
