Agroforestry Exploration - Jan 2024

  • Thursday, January 11, 2024, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Discover the future of sustainable agriculture in our Agroforestry Exploration Workshop on January 11th, from 12 PM to 1 PM (Zoom). Agroforestry, the integration of farming with trees, shrubs, and forest ecosystems, holds the key to enhancing the resilience of small farms. By diversifying income streams, promoting environmental stewardship, and providing adaptive strategies against climate change, agroforestry opens new avenues for sustainable and prosperous farming.

Join CCE Putnam’s Jen Lerner and Jess Alba, Watershed Forest Stewardship Educator, from Watershed Agriculture Council for an insightful presentation and Q&A session to learn how agroforestry can empower your small farm.

Topics will include perennial forest floor crops and fruit bearing trees, My Woodlot, and WAC resources and funding opportunities.

We will contact you one week before the event with a Zoom link.
