Master Gardeners can share their expertise with your organization!

Looking for a great speaker and a great way to educate your group on a variety of gardening topics and environmental issues? Master Gardener Volunteers of CCE Putnam can help!

Master Gardener Volunteers, trained by Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Putnam County, are available upon request to speak to your group. Dedicated to serving the community, the Master Gardener Volunteers are involved in many aspects of educational outreach yearround and are trained to provide accurate and timely information on a variety of gardening topics and environmental issues. These enthusiastic volunteers are sure to inspire your audience.

Cornell Cooperative extension of Putnam County Speakers Bureau has lively and informative presentations that are specifically designed to meet the needs of our county. 

There is a fee of $100.00 per presentation. We may offer a discount to libraries, schools, and other public organizations on a case-by-case basis. Most presentations are 45 minutes to one hour with time for Q&A afterward. Groups should be a minimum of 10 people.

Speakers' Bureau presentations are booked on a first-come, first-served, basis. If you would like to book a speaker, please complete this form and return it by email at least one month prior to your requested date to Amanda Colley, Volunteer and Program Coordinator, at amc399@cornell.edu.
